Then, if you are fully vaccinated (you have had your final dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before the date you arrive in England):

• Book and pay for a Day 2 PCR test before travelling back to England

If you are not fully vaccinated (you have not had your final dose of an approved vaccine at least 14 days before the date you arrive in England):

• Book and pay for Day 2 and Day 8 PCR tests before travelling back to England
• You must complete a passenger locator form
• You must quarantine at home or in the place you are staying for 10 days
• Or you can choose to book and pay for a PCR test on Day 5 (known as “test to release”). If the result is negative (and the result of your Day 2 test was negative or inconclusive) you can end your quarantine. You must still book and take your Day 2 and Day 8 tests
• If you require three or more tests our Triple Pack can save you money
• Don’t forget, you must also have proof of a negative COVID-19 test to travel back to England. The HALO service only operates in the UK, so you will need to book this separately in the country you’re travelling to.

Please note: the rules for France are different to those of other Amber list countries, and you’ll need to quarantine at home for 10 days even if you are fully vaccinated. Please see our FAQs page for more details.
